# Value-Driven Media

## What is value-driven media?

A value-driven media is media whose operations are driven by value transfer at its core.

There are two types of value transfer in value-driven media.

* Reward for attention to "Free Reveal"
* Payment for "Paid Reveal"

## What is a reward for attention?

The "Reward for Attention" is the reward a media creator agrees to pay anybody who gives their attention to the media content. This is set by the attention seekers, who decide how much payment is right for anyone who is willing to give attention to the "Free Reveal.

The media listing are arranged as per reward for attention. The media that would pay more would be listed at a higher rank than those who pay less.

## What is "Free Reveal"?

Free reveal is content that media creator creates a trailer for the full media. It gives a glimpse of what can be expected from the secondary reveal. This aids the user to make an informed decision as to who they want to pay to unlock the paid reveal.

## What is "Paid Reveal"?

A paid reveal is a piece of content that the creator unlocks only when users pay for it. It is sole discretion on the viewer of "Free Reveal" to unlock the "Paid Reveal"

The mechanism is designed so that good media creators have a higher conversion for "Paid Reveal" and thus collect more tokens. This increases their ability to give higher rewards for attention in their next media and thus increases the probability of better media ranked higher in the listing.

## What is the payment for "Paid Reveal"?

The payment for "Paid Reveal" is decided by the media creator basis demand of the type of content and willingness for payment by the viewer.

In theory, the quality of content would derive the value and how many viewers are willing to pay for "Paid Reveal" but setting it too high might result in low conversion.
