# QR Code Airdrops

## What are QR Code Airdrops?

QR Code Airdrops are gamified airdrops given to users by simple QR Scanning based on different rules set by the Blexings DAO. These QR Codes can both be company installed or regular QR Codes out there in the real world.

## What are rules of QR Scanning Airdrops?

In essence, the rules are simple:

* Find an Activated QR Code
* Scan the QR Code & Get rewarded
* Scan back after 1hr of cooling time

## What is an Activated QR Code?

An activated QR code is a code that is scanned by a minimum threshold of people in the blexings community.

In simpler word, any QR Code when scanned by more than 7 users from the blexings network using the blexings application would be considered as "Activated QR Code".

This threshold of 7 will eventually increase as the network become larger.

## How will I find an Activated QR Code?

Finding an activated QR Code is easy; all that is needed to be done is to scan QR Codes around the city.

Either you will be added as the founding members list making the QR Code closer to activation or you would be rewarded with Airdrops.

Every founding member holds the claim to Activation Reward when that QR Code reaches the activation threshold.

## What's is an Activation Reward?

Every QR Code activating member would be considered as a founding member of the QR Code and will be rewarded with a 100X reward at the time of activation.

They will be recorded as founding members of the QR and would be included in different category of rewards through that QR which will be subsequently added in the future.

## What is Cooling Time?

Cooling Time is the time gap between two minting events from a particular QR Code for a particular user.

In simpler words, a user can only mint coins from one QR Code after an hour of the last mint. This restricts users from visiting a QR Code and scanning it multiple times creating an imbalance in the network.

## How much reward do we get for scanning?

For each valid scan of any activated QR Code, the user would get 1 Coin as the reward. This reward may be reduced further as network participants increase to restrict distribution volume.
